Shamanic healing training now demands an advanced level of maturity, for the readied practitioner now steps into the delicate nature of working with souls. In this shamanism course, for instance, you will learn the art of soul retrieval.
A shamanic soul retrieval is one of the most broadly known healing practices of shamanism, yet probably one of the least understood. It requires significantly more delicacy, capability, awareness and sensitivity by the practitioner than that demanded by many other forms of shamanic work.
When we learn shamanism at this level, we discover the nature of souls, how soul fragmentation occurs, and methods of soul recovery. We will learn how to see souls, learn their songs, and the important process of reassuring their reintegration over time.
In order for a practitioner's work with souls to be well grounded, the powerful journeywork honed in Level 1 and the practitioner and spirit-helper teamwork developed in Level 2, now provide the foundation upon which this level of shamanic healing can adequately rest.
Furthermore, by this level of training the practitioner has reached a point of significant maturation through their experiences in level 2 of shamanic initiations. At each step of the way, your development and training prepares you for the next practice, experience, and responsibility that you will face in your studies.
Shamanic training at this level is geared for those students who have developed a professional sensitivity for shamanic ethics and a fluent technical foundation in the shamanic journey , practice and ritual. The class is designed for students who have demonstrated a particularly strong balance of grounding and non-ordinary proficiency during the previous levels of training, especially regarding merging.
This means that it requires proficiency in the material presented in the Basic Level 1 and intermediate Level 2 courses. Training and instruction move rapidly with a great deal of practice which, like Level 2, necessitates having practice clients available to you. By this time, shamanism studies and its practices have become a way of life, and the shamanic world view second nature.
Shamanic initiations continue to be central elements in advanced shamanic studies. The level and quality of advanced initiations can be challenging, and they provide necessary breakthrough experiences for the maturing practitioner.
Course work when you choose to study shamanism at this level is strictly geared for serious shamanic practice. The foundation established through the shamanism classes of Levels 1 and 2 is completely adequate preparation. As usual, this shamanic training continues to provide a concentrated combination of reading and technical practice. Outside practices and written submissions are a part of the curriculum as in the previous levels.
